The Express delivers energy in escalating incremenets, starting at 200J, then 300J, and finally 360J which it continues shocking at until the victim responds. LifePak bundles several disreable features in the Express. A motion detection feature indicates if the patient moves or if a responder is touching the patient before a shock is issued.
The LifePak Express is a semi-automatic defibrillator with a three steps operation process: turn on the AED, apply the pads, and press the shock button. Voice prompts from the Express during the rescue guide the rescuer during a save, helping to provide confidence and ensure a correct response protocol.
