The Defibtech LifeLine delivers a superior IP rating of 55, making it one of the most durable AED's available. The Defibtech Lifeline was designed and tested to withstand dust and water particles and can withstand first responders emergency use. The Defibtech includes several additional features that make it easy to use. Pre-connected adult pads fit in the rear of the AED in a pocket so that the unit is ready for emergency use at any time. The Defitech also includes convenient features, such as a rubberized grip handle for easy portability. The unit also has voice prompts, text, and lights to assist the responder throughout the rescue process. The provided prompts allow untrained responders to feel confident during a rescue.
The Lifeline also includes a CPR coaching metronome which asists the repsonder in providing the proper rhythym when performing chest compressions. The CPR feature also indicates when to begin compressions.
Another benefit of the Lifeline is that it regularly performs monthly, weekly, and daily tests to be sure the AED is functioning correctly at all times. A light indicates the status of the AED for easy monitoring by an administrator so the unit can maintained and ready for use at any time.
