How do I know if my AED is operational?

Each manufacture has a different display or feature to let you know if the AED is fully operation.  The AED performs self-tests to ensure that it is fully functional.  Here is a list of what each manufacture does to show that the AED is fully function:

Philips
Blinking green light

Defibtech
Status indicator light flashes

HeartSine
Status indicator light flashes

Medtronic
OK displayed

Zoll
Green check mark

Welch Allyn
Status indicator light
