Some states have instituted state laws that require dental practices to have an AED present.  In some cases, there isn't a state law that requires the AED, but there is a mandate set forth by the Dental Association in that state.  The Dental Associations have taken it upon themselves to create mandates that require an AED to be present at a dental office.  Below are the states that have either a law or mandate that requires an AED to be present in a dental office:

Mississippi - Board Regulation Number 45 - Effective 07/01/2012
