The OxySure™ Model 615 has been approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for over-the-counter sale, without the need for a prescription.
The OxySure® Model 615 is easy to use. In just 3 very simple, easy steps, anyone can administer medical oxygen in an emergency without the need for regulators, tanks, or special training required. Model 615 is a lightweight durable, device and generates a minimum of 6 liters per minute (LPM) of oxygen for a minimum duration of 15 minutes. The total oxygen produced exceeds 90+ liters.
How does the OxySure® Model 615 work?
The system uses OxySure's groundbreaking "oxygen from powder" technology, developed through many years of research and dozens of worldwide patents. We use two safe, inert powders that combine when you twist the knob, instantly producing medically pure (USP) oxygen. The OxySure® Model 615 system consists of an outer housing that is reusable and a disposable cartridge that can be easily replaced. The system and powders are completely environmentally friendly and the cartridge can be safely disposed of in regular household trash after use.
The Model 615 system comes ready to be placed in service, and includes a high concentration, partial rebreathing oxygen mask, which is rated for 6 to 15 LPM. The mask comes installed in our custom plastic tray that allows it to be stored neatly under the green cover so that it can be quickly accessed in the event of an emergency. The mask tray has a proprietary attachment that allows for a quick connection and guaranteed seal when attached to the system.
The mask comes standard with safety tubing that is 7' long and kink resistant. Soft, clear anatomical form provides comfort for even hard-to-fit faces. Adjustable elastic band fits comfortably to hold mask snugly in place.
Since the powders are inert, there is no storage of oxygen (therefore no compressed gas in your home!). The oxygen is produced on demand. Activation is a simple twist of a knob, and the system eliminates all of the dangers and problems inherent with traditional compressed sources of oxygen. Once the cartridge expires and the patient requires additional oxygen, a new cartridge is simply inserted into the device and the process repeated. This means that oxygen availability is limited only the number of cartridges available.
The OxySure® system is the safe, reliable solution for individuals to store, carry and administer a source of on-demand, medically pure (USP) oxygen. Now, for the first time in history, there is a solution that bridges "the gap" between the time an emergency occurs and the time the first responders get on the scene, by having a safe source of medical oxygen pre-positioned and immediately accessible.
The OxySure Model 615 is especially needed in cardiovascular emergencies. Irreparable damage (to for example, brain tissue) starts at approximately the third minute of oxygen deprivation (as a result of the heart stopping). In the US, "the gap" can be anywhere between 6 minutes and 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and other factors. Therefore, having your own oxygen source close at hand is critical.
Model 615 is needed: (1) By anyone who is at risk of having a heart attack or stroke; and (2) Any place where a heart attack or stroke may occur. Model 615 can also be placed right next to an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in public places and in the home.
Generally, Model 615 can be pre-positioned for use in any medical emergency, including respiratory emergencies (asthma, allergy, smoke inhalation from a fire, and so forth).
Award winning design: The OxySure® Model 615 system has an award winning, ergonomically effective and aesthetically pleasing design. It also comes with a carry strap for easy mobility.
